My Weight Loss Journey

#1. Weight loss starts in your mind

#3. Make your own schedule - You decide what you eat, when you eat it, how often you eat. When to workout

#4. Eat a bit more -If you drop your calorie intake too far the starvation response kicks in and your diet becomes less and less effective until eventually you stop losing weight.

#5. Eat breakfast - Ever heard the saying, “Breakfast like a king, lunch like a lord, dine like a pauper”? Breakfast has always been the most important meal of the day. Yet studies show that nearly half of us leave home in the morning with no more than a cup of tea or coffee inside us.

#6. Eat every 3-4 hours - a banana, a yoghurt, protein bar, oat, are something convenient.

#7. Be realistic - Set yourself realistic goals.1kg  a week is the most body fat you can lose in a week. Losing weight any faster than that is not a good idea and in the long term exposes you to the dangers of rapid weight loss.

#8. Cut out the sugar - You don’t need it.  NO value at all.

#9. Eat enough protein -Protein helps you feel full . So, if you want to feel full and burn more fat, try eating some more protein.

#10. Eat less fat - Want to lose weight? Eat less fat.;p

#11. Be more active - Making time for exercise is difficult when life is hectic. Try ur best to find a time for exercise with ur family.

#12. Ditch the scales - The scales are not the best measure of whether you are losing body fat, which is the weight you want to lose. So, don’t weigh yourself, or if you must, weigh yourself no more than once a week, same day, first thing in the morning after you’ve been to the toilet. Firmer, tighter, more defined - its working! The mirror is more accurate ;p

#13. Be patient and take your time - Perhaps the most important weight loss diet tip of all. You live in the real world full of challenges to your good intentions, such as your busy schedule and the food that surrounds you.

Drink at least 2 litres of water every day Drink a glass as soon as you wake up and at least one more before you leave the house in the morning. Carry a bottle of water with you to make sure you keep hydrated.
